Monday Nov 28, 2022
Asuwere co-founder Sam Hickey speaks with Fiona Rotherham. Men’s subscription clothing business Asuwere has expanded its offering to include curated skincare and other lifestyle goods. The idea is basically to take the hassle out of shopping for busy men, including Christmas gifts for the kids. The company was started in 2018 by brothers Sam and Noah Hickey. Noah, the older brother, is a former All Whites footballer who is now San Diego-based as chief executive of Kiwi fleet inspection and maintenance software company, Whip Around. Sam, 10 years’ younger, is a fashion designer and now Asuwere’s CEO after formerly working as a product developer for Original Penguin in London and head of design at Kiwi streetwear brand Huffer.
